[Alien & Bunny]

Let me start by saying nice job.

You've created characters and a story that can continue into a series.

You've also done a decent job with animation and created a situation where the alien can do many things because he has cool alien devices. You've done a lot here! So it's hard to pick it apart since so many others submit crap... but here is what I see.

The sound is good. Good voice acting. I think it could use a little more humor or adventure to it...

The animation is good... but you just need to add some more visual "pop" to it. For example. When bunny grabs the alien and runs... he's in a straight up vertical position and his legs are kind of flailing along... lean him forward or backward... have his ears flying back and flapping in the wind... have the alien flowing at more of an angle... you know... give it a REAL action feel! Also I would move the background a bit faster behind them or make a blurry background to give the impression of more speed...

Overall you have made a very good effort... and I admire that you are doing something productive and trying to make an entertaining series!

Keep working on it... I'll keep watching!

I like your message...

I was all ready to give this a bad rating simply because I'm growing tired of all the PSA's and political cartoons...

But you did a good job of making it look so horrible... and I do hate animals getting killed for bullsh#t reasons!

I am a meat eater... bit I don't like the fur industry or just hunting for sport.

Your animation is a little comical for such a heavy message, but if that is your style... then that is your style.

Haha yeah i did make it sorta like some POWERfull stuff but i just did it. And it is terrible that they kill inoccent animals of NO good reason. Well they have farms and use animals for testing medicen and lots of crazy messed up $#*t thats just wrong.

Hmmm.

It's okay. I like your pixelated graphics and it's fun, but it's short and it loops and she doesn't do anything but sit there and go straight.

Cool style... but not entertaining past 10 seconds.

I like the style...

Cool, dark feel to it.

Fun and mysterious... and I do get drawn into the boy's tribulations...

But... while I agree that dramatic pausing and a slower pace is good for this story... it drags a bit in places and after a while I am ready for it to be over. Almost like it could have been broken into shorter episodes.

You've got a great concept here... just a wee bit exhausting in places waiting for it to move.

Not bad.

I liked the kinetic set.

I liked that the pace was frantic except for the main character (which is part of the point).

I like the message it sends.

I like the soundtrack and think the animation fits the music well.

I LOVE the simplicity of the whole thing... I really believe with a simple, profound message like this that less is more!

My only complaint is when you hit the "replay" button, you have to go back through all the opening credits which takes about 15 seconds it feels like. I would prefer to just watch the cartoon again at that point.

LOL yeah. The original movie starts about 100 frames (or more) in and I did gotoandplay (3).

I'm questioning that myself.

I probably won't do that from now on unless the title sequence is shorter.

Here's the thing.

You've got some good ideas... and I like how it was confined to the piece of paper...

...but there are a LOT of "stick combat" cartoons on here, so if you do one, take the time to make the movement really good and really fluid.

I see where you're going, but...

Yes, anime is full of cliches and pretty damn lame.

However, we all make fun of it all the time... and your animation does need work.

This is not new or interesting to me, but I can see you are making an effort at least and you have good potential... just find more fresh subject matter.

Enjoyable.

This has been compared to "Tom Goes to the Mayor" which I feel is a mistake.

While you use a similar art and animation style to that show... I think the creators of TGttM should be SHOT for making UTTER CRAP!!!

You, however, have put together a show that is entertaining. Your dry humor held my attention the whole time... even though it got a wee bit long there toward the end. The scene where they were actually at American Idle dragged a bit.

Anyway I went in with a negative attitude because of the comparison, but it turns out I really enjoyed watching it and laughed quite a bit.

Nice job... I'll be looking for the next one!
